Responsibilities
We are looking for a Business Unit Director to create, develop and lead a Business Unit, with a strong business mindset and true executive presence.
Business Unit vision & strategy
- Define the positioning, offerings and roadmap of the Business Unit.
- Build a credible, distinctive value proposition.
- Identify market opportunities and drive strategic development.
- Represent Afixen to decision-makers and key partners.
Business development & strategic accounts
- Develop and manage a portfolio of key accounts.
- Manage complex, high-value sales cycles.
- Negotiate strategic, long-term contracts.
- Ensure healthy, sustainable and profitable growth.
Business Unit development and management
- Recruit, structure and grow high-performing teams.
- Build a culture of performance, high standards and accountability.
- Manage the full P&L, including revenue, margin, profitability and staffing.
- Set up effective KPIs and action plans.
Executive role within the group
- Act as a true Business Unit leader, accountable for your decisions and results.
- Contribute to the group’s strategic thinking around offerings, organization and growth.
- Actively contribute to building and developing Afixen over the long term.
Who we’re looking for
- Master’s degree or equivalent from an engineering or business school.
- Proven experience in business development, team management or leading a business unit.
- Strong business acumen and a strong sense of responsibility.
- Natural leadership, professional credibility and executive presence.
- Comfortable working with senior stakeholders, including executive leadership, procurement teams, program managers and technical experts.
- Professional-level English is required.

- Permanent employment contract or self-employed status, Director level.
