CFO/CFA Electrical Designer [F/M/X] — France

AFIXEN is recruiting a CFO/CFA Electrical Design Draftsperson [M/F/X] to strengthen its teams on high-current and low-current electrical projects throughout France.

Within our engineering design office, you will work on a variety of projects involving commercial buildings, multi-unit residential buildings, industrial sites, research centers and demanding technical environments. Working closely with design engineers, project managers and contract managers, you will play a key role in producing the drawings, diagrams and technical documentation required for the successful delivery of the works.

This role is suited to a professional with strong expertise in CFO/CFA electrical drawings, able to turn technical requirements into reliable, compliant and practical deliverables for project and site teams.

Your missions

Reporting to a design engineer or contract manager, you will contribute to the design and production of drawings and technical documentation related to electrical systems. You will produce CFO/CFA drawings and diagrams using CAD and drafting tools, including AutoCAD and Caneco, ensuring quality, consistency and regulatory compliance.

You will work on the production of single-line diagrams, system diagrams and layout drawings for electrical systems, including main low-voltage switchboards, distribution boards, lighting, power outlets, fire safety systems, access control, VDI networks and other low-current systems. You will update drawings based on project changes, site feedback or adjustments requested by the client.

You will also contribute to technical studies by helping size electrical equipment, carry out load calculations and prepare calculation notes using Caneco or internal tools. You will ensure compliance with applicable standards, particularly in building electrical systems and safety.

As part of project follow-up, you may be required to carry out on-site surveys, attend technical meetings and ensure effective coordination with design teams, works stakeholders and clients. You will prepare, update and manage technical documentation to ensure the reliability of the data shared at each stage of the project.

Finally, your role will also involve continuous improvement. You will help optimize drafting methods, harmonize deliverables and share and standardize best practices within the engineering design office.

Your profile

You have a Bac+2 to Bac+3 level qualification, or equivalent, in electrical studies, electrotechnics or electrical engineering, and at least one successful first experience as a CFO/CFA Design Draftsperson, Electrical Designer or Electrical Design Office Technician.

You must be proficient in AutoCAD and Caneco, which are essential for success in this role. Knowledge of See Electrical and/or Revit BIM would be a plus. You are comfortable reading drawings and electrical diagrams, and you are familiar with complex technical environments and the specific requirements of commercial, residential and industrial projects.
