Responsibilities:
As a Senior Business Manager, you manage your business with 360° responsibility, while playing a key role in supporting and increasing the skills of more junior Business Managers.
A true growth engine, you combine business development, team leadership and strategic contribution to the development of Afixen.
Customer relationship & business development
- Identify, prospect and develop a portfolio of strategic accounts (large groups, ETI, industrial players)
- Understand the business, technical and human challenges of your customers
- Detect opportunities, respond to calls for tenders (RFP) and build tailor-made commercial proposals
- Manage negotiations and close sales
- Building long-term relationships of trust and positioning Afixen as a strategic partner
Recruiting & Talent Management
- Attracting, recruiting, and retaining top engineering and project management talent
- Building and growing your own team
- Manage with rigor, clarity and kindness
- Support the development of skills and performance, at the individual and collective levels
- Foster a strong team culture, oriented towards excellence and collective success
Business Manager Coaching & Development
- Support and coach junior Business Managers in their commercial and managerial development
- Sharing best practices in complex sales, account management and team management
- Contribute to the increase in competence of the Business community within Afixen
- Participate in the structuring of commercial and business management methods
Financial Management & Business Management
- Be responsible for the economic performance of your Business Unit: turnover, margin and profitability
- Monitor and manage KPIs (turnover, margin, staffing rate, transformation rate, growth)
- Define and implement corrective action plans if necessary
- Contribute to the long-term structuring of your BU: new offers, partnerships, scope development
Entrepreneurial dimension
- Act as a true entrepreneur within the group
- Actively contribute to the improvement of our tools, processes and strategy
- Play a key role in the launch and structuring of future Afixen agencies
- Be part of a long-term entrepreneurial dynamic, with real prospects for association
Profile wanted
- Bac+5 diploma (engineering school, business school or equivalent)
- Proven experience in business development, consulting, ESN or entrepreneurial environment
- Strong business spirit and appetite for value creation
- Structured, analytical and results-oriented profile
- Natural leadership and the ability to mobilize and align teams
- Comfortable in managing complex sales cycles with senior contacts (C-level, purchasing, technical departments)
- Fluent English (other languages are a plus)
